I am Mary Magdalene and today I want to tell you a little about what it was like in my time, the time I was with Jesus.
There were many conflicts then as well, there were those who wanted power or to keep the power they already had, and then the foot people who they thought they ruled over. All resistance was immediately put down, they were the only ones who had any kind of weapons and what you call soldiers.
Today you have much more advanced weapons that can destroy societies and kill many more people without having to confront them. You also have another name, the word military appears in different contexts. It is an expensive organization whose money could instead be used for humanitarian purposes rather than war with each other.
There was also injustice in those days, there were those who lived in abundance and those who begged on the streets. People didn’t have much value unless they had money in their pockets.
There was no question of any form of education except for the more affluent in society. Crafts were passed down from father to son, daughters were married off at an early age. Household work was part of their chores and possibly taking care of the animals if there were any in the home. The girls had to help and take part in the chores from an early age, younger siblings were also included in their work.
Yes, dear friends, that’s how it looked at the time, but there was also a great community within the family where you supported and helped each other. In a small society, as it often was at that time, everyone got to know each other and you helped and exchanged services with each other between different groups than the one you have today.
However, your new technology gives you the opportunity to connect different groups with common interests if it is used in a good and responsible way. However, it can also isolate people from each other so that they do not get the human contact that everyone living on Earth needs to have today.
It is that contact that helps us develop and see ourselves for who we really are. In our time, it was the small community that we knew and maybe a few nearby villages, the rest of the world we didn’t know much about.
Your new technology opens up a completely new understanding of different cultures and countries, and the world outside you no longer feels so big. You can easily go to different places on Earth, gain new insights and understanding about other cultures and their way of life.
This makes it easier for you to get in touch and collaborate on a larger global level. This has meant that development has gone faster and taken bigger steps forward than it has done before. So you don’t stand still and repeat the same story over and over again, but you have constantly developed yourselves and your society in different ways.
All that you have achieved may not always have been used in the right way, but much of it has been of great use to you today. You continue to develop new techniques of various kinds, with greater insights and understanding of what is good for people, animals and nature. It is done as the compassion and love within you has grown through the experiences you have with you in your baggage.
You have begun to understand that there is something more and greater than what you have experienced so far. You begin to understand that you have all power, love and strength within you and that you can change your existence and world just by opening the gate of your heart so that power and love can flow forth and fill your entire body.
It is the step that you now see that humanity is about to take and it will change life on Earth. It has already begun, dear brothers and sisters, that work is already underway and it begins within yourselves. It is a great wave of love that will now sweep over the Earth.
