Plato is speaking:

“This is a teaching about growing wisdom in aging.

Holding back time is something that humankind has yearned for since time began. Getting older is also a bane of the living. In Light, flowing ‘energy cages’ act as our existence vessels and do not age as physical bodies do. Energy cages act as do physical bodies, even look similar to our physical form, but do not show any effects of aging. Great ideas in life about overcoming aging and living forever are a reality here in Light. Ignoring time, our energy cages brightly shine with abundant vitality and never experience illness or aging. So why, you may ask, must our physical bodies succumb to such conditions? And I will answer that it is for the gaining of spiritual wisdom. Wisdom that can only come from experiencing aging and death.

J spends much time pondering her vacant fear of aging, and I will gallantly remind her of her reality. Her aging body is quite pretty still and her best years are ahead of her. Hoping for her aging to slow down, J spends much time in able-bodied movement and eats healthy food most of the time. Her habit of jumping around and flailing her limbs to music is a great entertainment to her guides in Light. High on our list of humorous pastimes. I am picking on J now, but it is done only in love. I suspect that most of you reading this also engage in this type of agitation of your bodies for its health benefits. However, I am here to tell you it is less helpful than you believe. J questions my opinion on this but I stand by it. Healthy aging is more about one’s mind than about one’s exercise and eating habits. It is also about one’s health of spirit. To be spiritually healthy is to invite physical vitality into one’s body. More than that, it invites hope and happiness into one’s mind. J’s vision of growing older is one of each fragile part of her physical body gradually becoming haggard and worn out. J’s vision of aging is that of wasting away by slow degrees. I would laugh at her ideas if they did not have such a dangerous effect on her health. Her ideas will become a self-fulfilling prophecy unless she changes them. I tell her now again, as I tell you, that aging is voiced by one’s beliefs. If you believe in the inevitable breakdown of the body, that is what you invite into your reality. Healer J frightens herself with these ideas simply because her belief in Light is not yet solid. Holding her fickle youth in a tight grip issues only an invitation to hopeless failure. I understand her motivation but I hope to relieve her of it.

Getting older is a gift not all in life receive. God’s vision of this gift is one of great wisdom. In one’s journey through life, healing is the single most important goal. Just as in Light, wisdom and healing come from experience. The longer one’s journey, the more wisdom is received. In Light, existence is endless. In life, physical existence is finite. This finite time in one’s physical body is a gift as well. Life is a hard act of learning entered into by souls in need of education. However it may seem to you who are living it, life is harsh in comparison to Light existence. In Light there are no frightening experiences or violent emotions, only happiness, peace and love. Life is the great school of hard education.

J teaches God’s ideas in Light, but in life she is the student. Her flow in this life will be a long one in which much wisdom will be gained. Long in her Light existence, her higher self is quite advanced in enlightenment. From her higher self in Light she receives important glimmers of this enlightened wisdom and the freedom of higher-minded thinking. I am holding her up as an example but all of you reading this are aligned with enlightened souls as well, or you would not be reading this. Each one of you is part of an enlightened soul in Light, a soul that speaks its wisdom, gained from many millennia of Light experience. In your old age the voices of your souls will become clearer and impart much wisdom to you. As one grows old, one’s grip on the physical loosens but one’s connection to Spirit becomes stronger. In this connection important information is passed from Light to life. Those in their old age act as spiritual teachers for the young. It has always been so and will always be. In imparting this wisdom to future generations, the old in life give the young a great gift of Light. J will give this gift to many, as will you all.

So, I say now to you, go gleefully into old age! Do not mourn the passing of youth. Hold the expectation of continued happiness and bodily fitness into old age. Know that happiness does not decrease with age, it increases. Hold on to your life happiness and mental curiosity. Keep learning and exploring in life. Give hope spoken voice, not hopelessness. Highlight optimism, not pessimistic outlooks. Move in whatever manner gives you pleasure, even if it is like J’s silly dancing. Love fully, not reservedly. Forgive others and forgive yourself. Get plenty of sunlight and fresh air, and hug someone each day. Log your right-minded thoughts of God and share them with others. If you do these things your journey into old age will be a gentle one and your passing into Light will be a joyful homecoming.

Now I will end off and issue my apologies to J for teasing her. Until next time, be well my friends.”

Glossary of common terms and their meanings:

Light – This term is used in multiple ways. Often it is used to describe the existence beyond physical life, commonly referred to as “Heaven” or the afterlife. They also use it to describe spiritual energy or consciousness, the energy that makes up everything that exists. They also use it to describe a state of positive, enlightened existence in alignment with God. They also tend to use it as a name for the collective enlightened consciousness, the guides, teachers and masters in spirit who reach out to us.

Long-in-Light – Is another way of saying “enlightened” or possessing a great deal of spiritual light. It can also be used to describe one who has existed in spirit for a long time, an “old soul.”

Night-light – They use this term to describe anything, living or in spirit, that is not in alignment with God. Not a positive state, but rather one of sadness, fear, anger or any other kind of suffering. “Night-light spirits” are spirits in a state of negative emotions and suffering, not aligned with peace and happiness. They are in need of healing.

Light Pondering – Light pondering is the quieting of the mind to allow ideas of spirit to enter, through meditation, divination or dream work.

Light Minds – Light minds in life are those people living who have a mind-connection to spirit and spiritual truth: mediums, intuitives and other lightworkers. Light minds can also be those enlightened minds in spirit. They are aligned with Light, not night-light.

Loitering Spirits – Spirits in a state of night-light who are attracted to the energy of the living.

Logging – A term that describes the pinning of intention to effect change in one’s experience. Logging, in teaching vernacular, is the sending of intention toward a goal.
