Session with Plato for Sananda

Plato is speaking:
“Greetings, Light students. Honoring a verse in a song I recall from my life as Plato, I voice it in Light now. A great person with a welcome singing voice sang it to me. J was that person. Other than J uttering this gleeful song to me, her notions in that life were usually quite pensive. Here is the song…
‘It is the story of a modern mode of life I tell, in which I take much glee.
The story of a quite dim son of a modern man named Gree.
Much ado is spoken about this modern man, his exploits are quite renowned.
I will speak about them now in great trilling song.
A simple man he was, but a novel thinker not.
He cackled over callus humor that a better man would drop.
And so much was crowed about his pushy acts that were backed by pompous flop.’
J was much better at singing this than I am, but I believe I was able to communicate it effectively.”
J: “I’m curious what teaching you are going to deliver based on that song verse.”
Plato: “I am getting to that now. Just as in the verse I communicated, in life, much truth can be found in humor. Humor lumps together farce with truth. It is an effective way to deliver serious ideas in life and Light. Lumping humor with elevated ideas of Light is a common teaching technique here in Light. Many of you might believe otherwise, but here in Light we adore humorous anecdotes and farce just as much, and even more so, than those in life. I wear a robe of white and a dour expression in the illustrations in which I appear commonly in textbooks, but in Light I wear many bright colors and laugh freely.
It is prudent to point out that here in Light great effort is aligned with lifting God’s ideas and enlightening those who need it, but this task, however difficult it may be, is not done somberly. Loading enlightening ideas into hungry minds is often accomplished with humor. Just as in life, humor is an excellent vehicle for truth. Humor voices God’s truth as effectively as messages voiced in reverent tones of religious devotion. Service to God is not drudgery or a dreary path of humorless piety. It is a joyful celebration of Light and life!
J is questioning the quality of humor in the verse that I sent. Her taste in verse has obviously changed. I enjoyed it despite J’s lack of appreciation and hope some of you did as well. It freely pokes fun at loud, caustic behavior and indirectly honors right-minded fellowship. Just as in Light, fellowship with others in life is a gift that should be enjoyed by all. It should unite and not divide. Friends in Light act in much the same way as friends in life, but in Light the bond of love is stronger. God’s love forms the core of all relationships in Light. In voicing humor in Light, the gift of a smile is the goal, never personal insult. Honorable people in life also hold that as their goal. To do otherwise is not in alignment with God in Light.
Home calls now in Light, helping you in life to enlighten themselves and others. Today my goal was to remind you to lighten up! Enjoy God’s gifts in life. Enjoy fellowship with others. Make them smile, and smile yourselves. God lives in joy and so should we all. Until next time, my friends, rest easy in life and laugh more freely.”

Glossary of common terms and their meanings:
Energy Flow – Another term for aura.
Light – This term is used in multiple ways. Often it is used to describe the existence beyond physical life, commonly referred to as “Heaven” or the afterlife. They also use it to describe spiritual energy or consciousness, the energy that makes up everything that exists. They also use it to describe a state of positive, enLightened existence in alignment with God. They also tend to use it as a name for the collective enLightened consciousness, the guides, teachers and masters in spirit who reach out to us.
Long-in-Light – Is another way of saying “enLightened” or possessing a great deal of spiritual Light. It can also be used to describe one who has existed in spirit for a long time, an “old soul.”
Night-Light – They use this term to describe anything, living or in spirit, that is not in alignment with God. Not a positive state, but rather one of sadness, fear, anger or any other kind of suffering. “Night-Light spirits” are spirits in a state of negative emotions and suffering, not aligned with peace and happiness. They are in need of healing.
Light Pondering – Light pondering is the quieting of the mind to allow ideas of spirit to enter, through meditation, divination or dream work.
Light Minds – Light minds in life are those people living who have a mind-connection to spirit and spiritual truth: mediums, intuitives and other Lightworkers. Light minds can also be those enLightened minds in spirit. They are aligned with Light, not night-Light.
Loitering Spirits – Spirits in a state of night-Light who are attracted to the energy of the living.
Logging – A term that describes the pinning of intention to effect change in one’s experience. Logging, in teaching vernacular, is the sending of intention toward a goal.
